Costa de Valencia is often mixed up with Costa Azahar and Costa Blanca. But Costa de Valencia is situated in Valencia and is considered to be one of the three main resort regions.
The most famous places of Costa de Valencia are Sagunt, Oliva, Gandia, Cullera. They have the atmosphere of the ancient Spanish towns and at the same time they are as comfortable as the modern tourist resorts. The natural landscape here consists of two parts: the mountains and the sea beaches, which are really nice for summer holidays.
The most beautiful place in Costa de Valencia is considered to be the Cape of Cullera. Here the mountains are near the sea and this place is not only very picturesque but it has a very healthy microclimate. Near the Cape of Cullera there is a town with the same name which is a very calm and cosy place of Costa de Valencia.
If you spend holidays in Costa de Valencia you may not only lie on the beach and swim in the sea but also go on excursions, for example, to Valencia, the main city of that region. The most popular objects among tourists here are the Roman Theatre in Sagunt and the buildings of Moors in Alzira.
