Ciudad Quesada between golf, fiestas and water

Ciudad Quesada combines sporting plans, seasonal fiestas and specific places with their own history. This is particularly evident in golf: La Marquesa Golf has an 18-hole course that is easy to walk and has no major elevation changes. The distances between greens and tees are short. This may be of interest to you if golf is to have a regular place in your stay.

The fiestas in honour of San Justo are also part of Ciudad Quesada’s events calendar; corresponding programmes are available for 2025 and 2026. At the fiestas of the urbanisations, the traditional Paella Gigante took place on Plaza Blanca in both 2025 and 2026. This brings together fiesta tradition and a very specific culinary occasion.

The 2026 Ciudad Quesada fiesta programme also includes a summer carnival parade along the same route as in previous years. Anyone interested can take part. If you are planning your stay around a fixed date, these events are therefore among the topics you can take into account when planning.

Water experiences and green surroundings

The AquaPark is located in the Ciudad Quesada urbanisation of Rojales, Alicante, in a natural hollow. It offers slides, a lazy river, four soft slides, two kamikaze slides, three children’s pools and a large swimming pool. This provides families in particular with a dedicated excursion focus, while its location within the urbanisation clearly links the AquaPark to Ciudad Quesada.

Parque El Recorral is located in the vicinity of Ciudad Quesada. It was formerly a livestock grazing area and now features dense vegetation of Aleppo pines. The site is suitable for excursions or picnics. Alongside the AquaPark, this provides a natural destination for a stay that includes time outdoors.

Water and mills as cultural traces

Today, Los Aljibes de Gasparito houses the permanent exhibition “Rojales y el Agua en el Mundo Tradicional”. The site also has a documented connection with water use: since the second decade of the 20th century, Los Aljibes de Gasparito served as large storage tanks for the marketing of rainwater.

The Molino de Viento windmill has a traditional façade and is set in natural surroundings on a small hill. It was remodelled to equip it with the mechanisms required for its complete operation.

The topics reviewed present a varied picture for choosing your destination: golf, fiestas, paella, water-based fun, picnic opportunities and exhibition venues offer different points of focus. You can therefore choose a hotel in Ciudad Quesada based on whether you would prefer to structure your days around the golf course, events, family activities or cultural impressions.

If you would like to discover another place in addition to Ciudad Quesada, you can visit Benimar.
