The Palau dels Marquesos de Malferit is designated as a cultural asset of special interest. Its origins probably date back to the 15th century. This dating provides a chronological reference point for the historical consideration of the Palau.

The Museo Nino Bravo presents the singer’s artistic career alongside aspects of his personal life. Audiovisual, photographic, audio and written material complements the costumes he wore and a microphone. Personal belongings donated by family members are also on display.

The Botellería received more than twenty gold and silver medals. It was established in 1880 by a company formed by Enric Ortiz Garrigós, Ricard Sanz and Bautista Aparici Belda. The production of alcohol in Aielo de Malferit also has a tradition dating back to the 18th century as a by-product of wine production. The local production tradition is therefore directly connected with viticulture.

Routes and Landscape

The Senda de la Creu de la Serratella hiking route begins at the Mirador del Clariano and heads towards the cross.

The PR-CV 435, the Senda del Barranc de la Fos, runs through the municipal areas of Aielo de Malferit and Ontinyent. The route begins in Aielo de Malferit in the direction of Creu de la Serratella and is slightly more than 12 kilometres long. This distance can be taken into account as a specific planning factor when organising the day.

Cova Alta, a mountain, is located in the vicinity of Aielo de Malferit. In the wider regional area are Benicadell, a peak, and the Sierra de la Atalaya, a mountain.

Festivals with Fixed Dates

The Festes Patronals i de Moros i Cristians in Aielo de Malferit take place between 5 and 8 August and include a parade of Moors and Christians. The August dates give the festival a clearly defined period for annual planning. The Sant Antoni festival on 17 January includes a traditional bonfire, a communal breakfast and the blessing of the animals. Its date falls outside the August period and marks a different time in the annual calendar.
