The Beaches of Valencia

The beaches of Valencia are considered to be the best in Spain. This can be proved by the name of the most popular resort district in the community Costa Blanca. Costa Blanca means in English “white coast” and that is because the colour of the sand is really white. White sand is a peculiar feature of many beaches along the sea coast of Valencia from Benicasim to Torrevieja.
The second peculiar feature of the Valencian beaches is their purity. The blue flag of EC for the quality of service and purity of water and beaches is a usual thing for most of the resorts of Costa Blanca and Costa Azahar. Nowadays the EC certificate for high quality of service on the beaches is given to 100 beaches of the community in 14 ports.
The best beaches in Valencia are the beaches of Costa Blanca. The first among them is the famous Playa de Levante which seems to be completely separated from the world by the high hotels of Benidorm.
The beaches of Denia are less famous than the beaches of Benidorm. In Denia the city port devides the sea coast into two great beaches, one of which is called Les Rotes and the other is Les Marines. The beaches situated to the north of Denia pretend to be the best places for windsurfing in Costa Blanca. Les Rotes, situated to the south, besides its picturesque rocky coast line is famous for its proximity to the natural park of Montgo. Besides that there are great opportunities for diving in Les Rotes.

The beaches of Costa Valencia are firstly wide and beautiful Gandia Playa in Gandia, Plaja de Miramar in Miramar and full of noise and fun Malvarosa, Pineda and Saler in Valencia. Contrary to the development of civilization in Costa Valencia there are beaches of Oliva which are well-known as pacific places which are ideal for family holidays.

There are beaches of Oropesa, Marina Dor, Benicasim, Peniscola in Costa Azahar. The beaches of Peniscola are famous for a beautiful view of the Castle of Papa Luna. The beaches of Benicasim are noted for their purity and also for Aquarama. The beaches of Oropesa are wild bays along the 7 km of the coast line and nudists like these beaches very much. For example, the beach of Les Platgetes de Bellver.

In general, the quantity of the nudists’ beaches is growing from year to year. Besides informal places where people can stark naked in Valenciana there are at least about 15 official nudists’ beaches. Among them there is Tres Playas in Alcosebr, La Solsida in Alteya, the beaches in Elche, Guadaramara, Xavea and Sagunt.
