Busot combines the Cuevas del Canelobre, the landscape around the Cabeçó d’Or, historic sites and festivals featuring music and regional cuisine. Caves, Protected Areas and Routes around the Cabeçó d’Or

The PR-CV 2 Cabeçó d’Or route begins at Pla de la Gralla near the Cuevas del Canelobre. It is a circular route with some overlapping sections on the outward and return legs. It is also connected with the Cabeçó d’Or y la Grana Special Protection Area for Birds and the Racó de Seva y Cova del Canelobre flora micro-reserve.

The Cuevas del Canelobre are a karst cave at an altitude of 700 metres on the northern slope of the Sierra Cabeçó d’Or. Its interior covers more than 80,000 m² and can be accessed through a 45-metre-long tunnel. Caving is possible in some areas of the cave.

The area around Busot offers opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. There is also a via ferrata there that is suitable for less experienced people.

Old Town, Views and Historic Traces

Castillo de Busot has been partially consolidated and reconstructed. Visitors can learn about its history there and enjoy the views. Monte Calvario lies in the heart of the old town; paths for walking run there alongside the town's traditional houses.

Torre de Cabrafich is also known as Torre de Busot. It is a preserved remnant of the defensive system created by the population during the Berber attacks.

Music, Puzzles and Shared Experiences

The Museo de Música Étnica displays more than 4,000 instruments from different eras, cultures and parts of the world. El Tesoro de Busot offers a playful way to explore the area: the town's scavenger hunt is based on local legends about the Cabeçó d’Or and the Cuevas del Canelobre.

El Tesoro de Busot has three difficulty levels: Historiador, Explorador and Aventurero. The first two take place in the centre of Busot, while the third is a nature route involving a climb to the summit of the Cabeçó d’Or. While exploring Busot, participants complete tests, challenges and tasks.

Festivals with Music and Regional Cuisine

In the second half of July, during the full moon, the public lighting in Busot's old town is switched off for a special evening event. More than 10,000 candles in the streets, windows and balconies create an atmospheric setting. The event provides a backdrop for musical and cultural performances. The festivals in Busot have been celebrated since 1963 and always take place one week after Easter.

As part of the cultural and festival week dedicated to San Lorenzo, there are cooking workshops and tastings of traditional dishes from Busot.
