El Mojón between the Beach, Salt Flats and Coastal Paths

El Mojón is the northernmost point of the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park. Playa El Mojón lies on the southern edge of the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada. In the surrounding area, the beach Playa de El Mojón, located on the Murcia side, borders the Regional Park. The Regional Park and Playa therefore give El Mojón two clearly recognizable sides. A dedicated festival programme was planned for El Mojón in 2026. The Fiestas de El Mojón were scheduled from Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026. The 2025 festival programme in El Mojón included a procession through the streets of the area in honour of Saint San Roque, accompanied by the Unión Musical de San Pedro.
