Monserrat combines distinctive landforms with a local history stretching far back into the past. The Serra del Castellet is a fold of Triassic dolomitic limestone with a strikingly eroded summit. Font del Pantà is a recreational area next to the municipal sports centre, among sycamore and poplar trees. A 17th-century dam has also been preserved at Font del Pantà.
