Los Balcones reveals itself through places that appeal to different interests: Casa y Torre de Los Balcones preserves an agricultural heritage, Parque Reina de la Sal combines peaceful walks with play areas, and Paraje Municipal Ilo-Ilo borders the protected area of the Salinas de Torrevieja. This picture is complemented by Club de Tenis Torrevieja, with padel courts and leisure activities.

Historical traces in Los Balcones

The protected Casa y Torre de Los Balcones complex on the Finca de Los Balcones includes the main building, a chapel, the entrance and a pine grove. Casa y Torre de Los Balcones is also one of the few surviving 18th-century agricultural manor houses on the Vega Baja coast.

As one of the few surviving examples of an agricultural manor house, Casa y Torre bears witness to the former dry farming practiced around the Torrevieja lagoon. At Casa y Torre, architecture, landscape and traces of former dry farming come together.

Sport and relaxed activities

Club de Tenis Torrevieja in the Los Balcones development combines demanding tennis training with enjoyable leisure activities. These include outdoor padel courts with hard surfaces and glass walls. The outdoor courts with hard surfaces and glass walls place a clear emphasis on outdoor activities.

Walks and time outdoors

Parque Reina de la Sal is designed as a peaceful place for walks and outdoor leisure activities in the Los Balcones residential development. The park also has play areas for children.

From higher points in Parque Reina de la Sal, visitors have views of the natural surroundings of the salt lagoons.

Paraje Municipal Ilo-Ilo

Paraje Municipal Ilo-Ilo has a paved walkway almost 700 metres long. In the Los Balcones development, the paraje was opened as a 28,000-square-metre area for public recreation. Paraje Municipal Ilo-Ilo borders the protected area of the Salinas de Torrevieja. Its length and firm surface give the walk a clear framework. The paraje connects the path with a 28,000-square-metre area for public recreation and the boundary of the protected area of the Salinas de Torrevieja.
