Natural Landscapes and Hiking Views
Forcall is surrounded by four Muelas, whose landscapes invite you to go hiking. The Riu Bergantes is designated as a Site of Community Importance. The PR-CV 322 Mola de la Vila hiking trail begins at the corner of Carrer III Centenari and Carrer Petra Palos in Forcall. It offers a bird’s-eye view of Forcall and the surrounding Muelas. This makes the town interesting for you if you want to combine hiking and landscapes with views of the town.

Orientation and the Ermita de la Consolación
The Forcall Tourist Information Office provides tourist information, assistance and guidance on local resources and services. The Ermita de la Consolación is a 16th-century chapel on a hill at the entrance to Forcall when arriving from Morella. It can be reached via the CV-124 to Consolacioneta and from there on foot. If you would like to visit this cultural site, the route combining the road reference with the subsequent walk is easy to follow.
Squares, Houses and Churches
Forcall has a large Plaza Mayor lined with arcades. The Casa-Palacio de los Miró in Forcall was built in the 16th century. The Casa de les Escaletes in Forcall is also known as the Ayuntamiento and has origins in the 16th and 17th centuries. The original Gothic church of Forcall dates back to the 13th century; the present church has a Renaissance nave, a simple façade and dates from the 19th century.
Archaeology and Historic Routes
A total of 28 structures and 20 burial deposits have been documented for the Sant Joaquim de la Menarella necropolis. In total, 90 people were buried there according to the rite of cremation in the 7th and 6th centuries BC. The necropolis is located at an important crossroads of routes to Forcall in a north–south direction and to the Sierra de Gúdar in an east–west direction. The UNESCO World Heritage map assigns Abric del mas de Barberà in Spain the identifier 874-345.
Museums, Crafts and Interpretation Centres
The permanent museographic collection of Forcall mainly displays archaeological material from the Iberian-Roman city of Lesera. The Museo de la Alpargata documents the traditional craft of espadrille making. Forcall also has the Centro de Interpretación de la naturaleza del Bergantes and the Centro de Interpretación de la Fiesta de San Antonio. Alongside architectural history and archaeology, this gives you access to crafts, nature and local festival traditions.
Santantonà de Forcall
The Santantonà de Forcall has been documented in the municipality since the Middle Ages. It includes traditional customs such as planting the maypole, burning the barraca and the ball rodat. Together with the Plaza Mayor, churches, museums and the Muelas, Forcall offers various ways to shape your stay: you can focus on architectural history, archaeological traces, crafts, traditional customs or hiking.
